It is, as if , the time is heading back and i am set to do it all over again..the same feeling but with one difference that was a small one and this one stretches a bit long and ,offcourse , fast and furious buzzing with the horns and sounds, yes, it is DND flyway and that was anonymous without a name but use to drop us from Kankerbagh colony to Ashok Rajpath in one go...
DND flyway , for some time now has become part and parcel of my life and i cross whole of it almost every day to make my way to IIT Delhi , it is almost the same feeling of getting up and down the stretch as i felt years ago during my early years of education.
Delhi has largest no. of cars in the city and so the no. of traffic lights, as you go down the flyway the pool of cars crawls forward inch by inch and you stuck some where in between, then roads drift and diverges to different direction and wheels move with some more rpm and there you cross flurry of ring roads to reach your final destination, its goes to Gurgaon thorugh Dhaulakuan or you can head to India Gate , Rajpath whatever..
Entire stretch on both ways form Noida to Delhi or Delhi to Noida are jam packed and traffic only ease after 10:00 PM in usual business days.
I take August Kranti Marg and through Ansal Plaza and Sirifort Auditorium i reach IIT Delhi almost by 7:00 PM when i am already late by 30 minutes..
Kyun bhai isi class ke ho na? Prof Banwet chuckles always and i cross the entire stretch with my head bend down and at the same time i fail to understand operations despite his valiant effort to make us understand.
